Maty's Place
Maty's Place is located in a very lucrative zone. There is a bus stop, gas station and ATM within walking distance, 5 minutes by car from the center of the town of Mafra, but also 10 minutes from the very popular place of Ericeira, which is not only a paradise for surfers. In Mafra, where the accommodation is located, there is one of the largest palaces in Portugal, which has a large garden. The city also offers a large selection of restaurants and cafes.
Birthdays & Events
In addition to accommodation, we offer a fully equipped private bar for celebrations of all kinds.Our fully equipped indoor bar connected to outdoor covered seating and grill can accommodate a total of 40 people + additional seating can be arranged.Suitable for birthday parties, smaller weddings, company parties. Weddings
We work with MAW by Clarke, a company that will prepare your dream day according to your wishes. Your dream wedding on the beach in the best location can already be a reality. Contact us and we will then send you full information.
SPA & Relax
We also offer our SPA zone for those who do not need accommodation and want to relax after a hard day. If anyone is interested in quality massages, please contact us ahead of time. Our SPA corner can accommodate a total of 10 people.
Surf Lessons
Take advantage of surfing lessons for any age and level at the World Surfing Reserve - Ericeira. Contact us for more information and reservations.
Stand Up Paddle
SUP is a great alternative to surfing. SUP can be seen as a training activity, while others find it a peaceful way to spend the afternoon along the coast.
Bike Tours
Take advantage of your vacation to enjoy a wine tasting, a unique trip on a local fisherman's boat, mountain biking, etc.
House Rules
Check-IN – 15:00 to 23:00
Check-OUT – 11:00
Quiet night: 22:00 – 8:00 (10:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m)
1. Make yourself at home!
2. Please take care of the house as your own, keep it clean and tidy.
3. Save water and electricity and help us protect the environment.
4. Smoking (anything) is prohibited in the entire building (House, Grill, Garden, Jacuzzi, Bar). Financial compensation is charged to the owner of the Maty’s Place for violation of this rule.
5. Please be safe and protect yourself by not leaning or sitting on windowsills, balconies or railings.
6. All windows and doors must be closed when leaving the property or in rain. Also, please keep the door locked when you are out of the house.
7. Events or gatherings of any kind are not permitted without the consent of the owner.
8. Accommodation in the house is a maximum of 8 people, other barbecue events etc. for more people only after the owner’s approval.
9. Any destruction of the Maty’s Place equipment (House, Jacuzzi, Garden, Bar, Grill, etc.). paid by the guest staying in the accommodation.
10. The house must be returned by the guest at CHECK-OUT in the same condition as the guest received it at CHECK-IN
11. Pets are not allowed (sorry!).
